All Dancing in the Grass garments use materials that are either organic CERTIFIED GOTS (for example cotton) or recycled CERTIFIED materials (for example polyamide) and are produced in a sustainable way.
No chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizers have been used throughout the whole process.
All our products are animal-friendly.
There are diferent levels of certification, below we highligh the main ones:
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) relies on third-party verification to verify a final product contains the accurate amount of a given organically grown material. It does not address the use of chemicals or any social or environmental aspects of production beyond the integrity of the organic material. The OCS replaces the preceeding OE 100 Standard.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
This certification only tests for illegal substances and known harmful substances for health and environment. All our suppliers work with Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard on all or several of their materials.
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) aims to substantiate the recycled content in a product. It certifies that all production processes in the entire supply chain have undergone the proper steps to ensure the integrity of the final product. In addition to monitoring the recycled content that goes into a finished product, the standard also addresses issues pertaining to environmental and social criteria. The GRS is based on a tracking and tracing principle which uses a transaction certificate based system similar to organic certification to ensure the highest level of integrity. This acts as a monitoring and controlling mechanism throughout the value chain of certified final products.
PETA approved vegan certification means no animal-derived products, including but not limited to fur, leather, silk, down or wool.
